About Florence McGrath

Florence is descended from some of the first Settlors in the Cayman Islands, and although she has also lived in the United States and England, she considers the Islands to be her real “home”. She just cannot imagine not having sand in her shoes.  

She holds university degrees in Social Work and Law, and for more than thirty years has worked in managerial and director level positions in the local Financial Services Industry. Ten years ago, she also qualified as a CIREBA real estate agent, and her high-level customer services skills in Financial Services have morphed over seamlessly into Real Estate. Her goal is to provide a concierge service and the positive feedback from her satisfied customers and clients has been worth the extra effort. Her legal background helps in navigating and understanding conveyancing procedures and requirements. And of course a long marriage to an Irish Architect has exposed her to the experience of diverse design and building projects. She is a registered Trust and Estates Professional and a member of the local Society of Trust and Estates Professionals since 1998, where, over the years, she has held various positions on their Executive Council. She is a fervent supporter of the various animal welfare societies on the Island.

In her spare time, she enjoys outings with her husband, two grown up children and their partners, as well as her granddaughter Livvy, the newest addition to the family. Her hobbies include spoiling her two furbabies, jewelry making, creative writing, interior decorating, reading, travelling to far flung destinations, as well as trying out exotic recipes.
